I work during the week, do you offer evening or weekend installations?List Item 1
Yes we do, our team of professional technicians have 3time slots on Monday-Fridays. 8-10 a.m., 12-3 p.m. or 5-7p.m. slots. On Saturdays, we can offer you an 8-10 morning slot or after 12-2 afternoon time.

Do I have to have a home phone line to get an ADT alarm system?List Item 2
No you do not. For the last 20 years we have used and highly recommend using what is called Cell-Guard. This is a separate communication system built into the internal system. More important for today’s time, it also prevents a burglar cutting your phone line to disable your communications. NOTE…there is not a bank, Federal Building, pawn shop, Jewelry store etc that does not utilize Cell-Guard. They cannot afford to be that exposed. BONUS…you do not have to pay the $399 for the equipment if we do your installation, it is completely free!

How long does it typically take to do an entire installation?List Item 3
Usually a technician can finish most jobs within a 2-3 hour time window. Clearly if we need to do more a larger job or we are having technical issues with the internet the job can go a little longer.

If I get ADT Pulse and order the wireless cameras, I have read many stories about neighbors being able to view my video feed.List Item 4
If you were to purchase a wireless camera on-line or at an electronics store you do run that risk. Our cameras which are proprietary to the ADT Pulse system have a lot of back end security built into them for that exact reason. To my knowledge in the 7 years Pulse has been out, there has been no rumor of anyone getting hacked.

If I set up a Smart Home Z-Wave system with ADT, can someone hack into that part of the system to access my home security?
To make this less complicated, the answer is 100% NO! There is no way ADT is going to allow smart home devices to have any access to the most important part of your system, the security.

What happens if I want to move, either before my contract expires or after?
Keeping you as a valued client is ADT’s most important priority. We have a great movers program which allows you to do so both before and after the contract has ended. We will pay for a new system in your home and also offer you a 25% discount on all additional parts. Plus as a bonus, your old home will now have an existing ADT security system, we will give you a $100 bonus if you tell the new owner to call us and set up the alarm, in most cases we may even upgrade him to a newer control panel.

I really want to get a security system but I have pets...
Unlike the old days, the newer system allow you to have pets and still have a world class alarm system. We even upgrade every client to the premium motion detectors that have an 80lb pet sensitive feature at no additional cost. Plus we can get very creative and still set up motion inside a home that have larger pets or cats.

Can I keep my alarm on when I am home?
Yes you can. We have two settings when setting the alarm and one of them allows you to secure the entire perimeter of the home and at the same time shut down the motion detectors so you are able to walk around without activating the alarm.

What if I want to arm my system at night but still keep a window or door open for fresh air?
Simple, we can do what is called venting. It allows you to open that door or window and still have it alarmed just in case. Call me for more details.

How often should I test my ADT alarm system?
ADT recommends you test your system once a month (I do mine once a quarter) by simply calling ADT and let them know you are doing a test. IMPORTANT…If you change your phone or internet, make sure you test it while that specific technician is still at your house.
